RANGPUR, Sept 12, 2022 (BSS) - Three fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed
after testing 30 new samples at the positivity rate of 10 percent in Rangpur
division on Sunday.
   
"With the diagnosis of the three fresh cases, the number of Covid-19 patients
rose to 64,904 in the division," Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md
Zakirul Islam told BSS today.
 
The total number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,126 as
no infected patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today in
the division.
 
The number of casualties remained steady at 1,289 as no new death was
reported during the last 24 hours.   
 
Meanwhile, more 10,557 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Sunday
raising the number of inoculated vaccines to three crore 11 lakh 54 thousand
and 394 doses in the division.
 
"Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs, 1,36,47,359 doses were
inoculated as the first doses, 1,30,36,358 as the second doses and 44,70,677
as the booster doses," Dr Islam added.
