CHATTOGRAM, Sept 4, 2022 (BSS) -A total of three people were tested positive
for Covid-19 during last 24 hours after testing 91 samples in 12 Covid-19
laboratories in the district.

The Covid-19 infection rate in Chattogram hit almost 3.33 percent till Sunday
morning.

With the diagnosis of three new cases, the total number of Covid-19 patients
rose to 1,28,751 in Chattogram district, Dr Ilias Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon of
Chattogram told BSS.

 At the same time, the number of healed Covid-19 patients reached to 1,27,
588 with the recovery of 14 more patients during the time.

The average recovery rate currently stands at 98.99 percent in Chattogram
City and the district areas.

With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll steady to 1,367.

A total of 16 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different
designated hospitals here.
