Scouting for making life disciplined, peaceful stressed

RANGPUR, May 19, 2022 (BSS) - Officials and public representatives at a
views-exchange meeting have stressed the need for inspiring young students in
scouting to build disciplined and peaceful life imbued with the spirit of
wisdom.
 
They made the observation at the views-exchange meeting organized by Rangpur
Sadar Upazila unit of Bangladesh Scouts at Sadar upazila parishad auditorium
in the city this afternoon.

Heads of different secondary level educational institutions from all over
Rangpur Sadar upazila participated in the event.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan attended the meeting as the chief guest
with Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and President of Sadar upazila unit
of Bangladesh Scouts Nur Nahar Begum in the chair.

District Education Officer (DEO) Roksana Begum, Rangpur Sadar Upazila
Chairman Nasima Zaman Boby, its Vice-chairmen Masudur Rahman Milan and Kajoli
Begum addressed the meeting.

The chief guest stressed on promoting scouting as the scouts serve humanity
and makes a disciplined and peaceful society alongside contributing to nation
building activities.

Other speakers said authorities of all secondary eleven educational
institutions should inspire students to take part in scouting alongside
pursuing academic and extra-curricular activities for developing themselves
as honest, worthy and patriotic citizens.

DEO Roksana Begum said the disciplined and systematic life of scouts plays a
pivotal role to build a knowledge-based enlightened and drug-free society as
the scouts always come forward with firm commitment and goodwill of serving
the society.
