Lalmonirhat, April 15, (BSS) - Police arrested two youths for kidnapping a student of class IX from Chapartal in Kaliganj upazila yesterday afternoon. 

The arrested are Mokhlesur Rahman, 28, and Mir Iqbal Swapan, 32. 

Police said a schoolgirl was abducted from Namri village under Aditmari upazila of the district on her way to school and taken her to Chapartal in Kaliganj upazila. 

Being informed by locals, people recovered the girl from their clutches. 

A case was filed with Aditmari police station in this connection.
