FARIDPUR ,Janu 29,2022 (BSS)- Two motorcycle riders were killed in a road

accident on Dhaka-Barishal Highway near Hamirdi area of Bhanga upzalila of
the district on Friday night.

    The deceased were identified as Anwar Hossain, 42, an employee of
Department of Social Welfare in Bhanga and Mirza Wahiduzzaman (Babu),33,an
expatriate of Singapur.

    Anwar Hossain was hailing from Paschim Khabaspur of the town and
Wahiduzzaman Babua was the resident of Noupara village of Bhanga. Both were
heading towards Faridpur from Bhanga riding a motorbike.

    SI Shah Alam of Bhanga Highway police station said the accident took
place near Hamirdi bus stand area at around 7:30 pm when a truck hit the
motorcycle from the rear side causing spot death of biker Anwar Hossain.

 Meanwhile the rider Mirza Wahiduzzaman Babu breathed his last at Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital (BSMMC), hospital source said.

     A case was lodged with Bhanga police station in this regard.
