CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 29, 2022 (BSS) - Nine more persons tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours till this morning, raising the total number of infection to 6,170 in the district.

During the time, 14 samples were tested as nine persons were detected positive for Covid-19 showing the infection rate 64.28 percent, civil surgeon office sources said.

A total of 233 patients are undergoing treatment in the district.

Meanwhile, 161 patients have died of Covid-19 and 5,776 have recovered from the disease so far here, the sources added.
