BHOLA, Jan 1, 2022 (BSS) - A total of 2,800 blankets were distributed among
poor, cold- affected and helpless people of Chachra, Chandpur, Sonapur and
Shambhupur unions under Tajumuddin upazila of the district this morning.

  Local lawmaker Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shawon distributed the blankets as the
chief guest at a simple function organised by Tajumuddin upazila
administration on its premises.

  Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Maryam Begum, Upazila Awami League President
Fakrul Alam Jahangir, its General Secretary Fazlul Haque Dewan, Upazila Vice-
Chairman Mohiuddin Poddar, among others, were present on the occasion.

   Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shawon urged the rich people to stand by the cold
affected poor people to reduce their suffering.
