DHAKA, Sept 10, 2026 (BSS) - Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today attended the Annual Commanders’ Conference-2026 of the Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps at the Army Medical Corps Centre and School (AMCC&S) at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment in Ghatail, Tangail.

During the conference, the Army Chief exchanged views with senior officers on various issues, including technological advancement, research, professional development and future plans of the two corps, said an ISPR press release here today.

He highly appreciated the significant contributions and activities of the Army Medical and Dental Corps in providing healthcare services, highlighting their glorious traditions and professional excellence.
General Waker expressed hope that the Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps would continue to play their commendable role in serving the people with integrity, sincerity and a strong sense of duty.

Director General of the Directorate General of Medical Services, Acting GOC of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army, GOC of 19 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Ghatail Area, senior military officers, commanders and officers of the concerned corps, and members of different ranks attended the conference.
