MANIKGANJ, May 30, 2026 (BSS) – The 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman was observed here with due respect.
 
Marking the day, Manikganj District BNP organised a doa mahfil, Qurankhani and a discussion at the district BNP office today.
 
BNP Manikganj District Convening Committee Member Advocate Azad Hossain Khan presided over the function.
 
Among others, District Convening Committee Member and Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate AFM Nurtaj Alam Bahar, District Convening Committee Member Golam Abedin Kaisar, BNP leaders Riaz Mahmud Harej, Masud Parvez and Motaleb Hossain, Commander of the District Freedom Fighters Command Council Abdul Mannan, and Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Advocate G.S. Jinnah spoke at the programme.
 
Earlier, the national flag was hoisted at half-mast alongside a black flag at the Manikganj District BNP office in the morning.
