NATORE, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS) - The government today distributed Boro paddy seeds and fertilizers among 2,020 small and marginal farmers in Singra upazila of the district to support increased agricultural production.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah Al Rifat handed over the incentives at a function held at the hall room of the Upazila Agriculture Office at 11 am.

Speakers at the event said that the country has achieved food self-sufficiency due to the effective steps taken by the Ministry of Agriculture. 

Among those steps are providing incentives and training at the farmer level, mechanization, introduction of technology, and provision of easy availability of all inputs including fertilizers.
