KHULNA, Dec 3, 2025 (BSS) - Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Khulna University of 
Engineering and Technology (KUET) Professor Dr. Md. Maksud Helali on 
Wednesday said ensuring the quality of education is fundamental for any 
university.

He stressed the importance of well-designed question papers, proper and 
accurate maintenance of course files for effective implementation of Outcome-
based Education (OBE).

The VC made the remarks at a daylong workshop on "Question Preparation, 
Moderation and Course File Preparation" held at KUET. 

The event was organised by the university's Institutional Quality Assurance 
Cell (IQAC) as part of its efforts to strengthen academic standards and 
advance of Outcome-based Education.

Presided over by IQAC Director Prof Dr. Md. Hasanuzzaman, the programme was 
conducted by its Additional Director Dr. Md. Nur Kutubul Alam. 

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department Head Prof Dr. MMA Hashem 
and Prof Dr. KM Azharul Hasan served as resource persons and discussed 
international standards in question-setting, moderation methods, and best 
practices for preparing course files.
