KHULNA, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS) - A special prayer was held today at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) seeking the speedy recovery, good health and long life of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. 

The doa mahfil was organized at the university's Central Jame Mosque after Asr prayers. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Maksud Helali, along with teachers, students, officers and employees, attended the event. 

Deans of various faculties, institute directors, department heads, registrar, and senior administrative officials were also present. 

Imam of the Central Jame Mosque Hafez Maulana Mufti Zubair Hasan conducted the prayers, seeking speedy improvement of the BNP chairperson's health. 

Prayers were also offered for the peace, prosperity and welfare of the country and the nation.
