NETRAKONA, Sept 10, 2026 (BSS) - A day-long training workshop on "Environment-friendly Block Brick Production and House Construction Using Block Bricks for Masons" was held today at Advance Eco Bricks at Kendua upazila in the district, organized by the District Environment Department.

Twenty masons and block brick production workers participated in the workshop.

Assistant Director of the District Environment Department Md Abdullah Al Matin urged all concerned to use automatic and block bricks instead of traditionally fired bricks to prevent environmental pollution.

"Block brick production workers have a bright future ahead. Therefore, efforts must continue to acquire greater skills in this field," he said.

District Environment Department Inspector Mahabubul Islam and Accountant Shafiul Alam Rana attended the programme, along with Advance Eco Bricks Managing Director Tafazzal Tapu, local entrepreneurs, NGO representatives and journalists.

Participants received practical training on proper block brick use.
