MANIKGANJ, April 1, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested two alleged ganja traders and seized 13 kg of the drug from their possession.

The arrested were identified as Billal Hossain, 30, and Zahid Hasan, 24, both residents of Chandina upazila in Kumilla district.

The Sub-Inspector (Investigation) of Manikganj Police Station Khorshed Alam with his team conducted a special drive in the Manora area of the sadar upazila and arrested two drug peddlers with 13 kgs of Ganza at 4.50 am on Wednesday from under an old bridge.

A case was filed under the Narcotic Control Act at Manikganj Sadar Police Station, and the arrestees were produced in court.
