KHULNA, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) - A prayer was held in Khulna seeking the recovery and long life of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The programme, organised by Khulna Metropolitan BNP, was held yesterday at the BNP office on KD Ghosh Road in the city.

Special prayers were also offered for the eternal peace of the soul of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, for the long life of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and for the eternal peace of noted sports organiser Arafat Rahman Koko, the younger son of Ziaur Rahman.

Khulna Metropolitan BNP President Advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona, General Secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, Begum Rehana Isa, Organising Secretary Sheikh Sadi and other BNP leaders were present.
