DHAKA, Jan 17, 2026 (BSS) - A doa mahfil and mourning meeting were held at Gobindaganj Municipality in Gaibandha seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

The information was shared today through a post on the official Facebook page of the BNP Media Cell.

The programme was organised by the Gobindaganj Municipality unit of Chhatra Dal.

Leaders and activists of Gobindaganj Municipality BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal and other associate and affiliated organisations, along with a large number of local people, attended the programme.
