NARSINGDI, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS) - Sardar Sakhawat Hossain Bokul, Senior Vice President of Narsingdi District BNP and the party's nominee for the Narsingdi-4 (Monohardi-Belabo) constituency, today pledged to ensure citizen services and to fight terrorism, extortion, oppression, and drugs if elected at the election.

Bokul made the remarks while addressing an election rally at Hatirdia Shadat Ali Adarsha High School ground on this afternoon, organised by Ekduaria Union BNP.

"I am a freedom fighter and have devoted my life to safeguarding the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh," he said. "I urge the people to vote for those who uphold the spirit and ideals of the Liberation War."

"We seek democracy, not repression; people's rights, not plunder. The paddy sheaf symbol represents hardworking citizens and our commitment to restoring their rights. Let us ensure the victory of the people by voting for the paddy sheaf,” he added.

The rally was presided over by Ekduaria Union BNP President Mostafa Hossain Shikder and conducted by General Secretary Nazmul Alam Hatem.

Among others, District BNP Vice President Tofazzal Hossain Liaqat, Belabo Upazila BNP Convener Ahsan Habib Biplob, Monohardi Upazila BNP Member Secretary Aminur Rahman, Belabo Upazila BNP Member Secretary Abdul Qadir Jalil, Monohardi Upazila BNP Joint Convener Moniruzzaman Monir, Narsingdi District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Azizur Rahman Khandaker Sohag, and Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Masudur Rahman Sohag attended the programme.
