KHULNA, Jan 29, 2026 (BSS) - BNP nominee for Khulna-2 constituency and former MP Nazrul Islam Manju today said the party will always remain beside the people in the struggle to establish their rights.

"We dream of a new Bangladesh where trained youths will have open employment opportunities, freeing them from the curse of unemployment and enabling them to contribute to nation-building," Manju said while talking to voters during a door-to-door campaign.

He said BNP wants to build a society where truth, justice and fairness will replace fear, communal harmony will prevail, and all government and non-government offices will be free from brokers and corruption.

"People's voices will not be silenced, rather, every opinion will become a source of strength for the future," he added.

Manju conducted mass contact and distributed leaflets from 9:30 am at Mistripara Bazar in Ward No. 27 at different markets, including Jabbar Market, Railway Market, Nannu Super Market and Mashiur Rahman Market in Ward No. 21.

Recalling Khulna's past glory, he said BNP wants to revive the city's golden days by reopening closed mills and factories, creating employment, promoting cultural activities and sports among youths, and building a drug-free society for a prosperous future.

Khulna City BNP President Advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona, along with party leaders and activists from different units, business persons and local residents, were present during the campaign.
