SIRAJGANJ, April 3, 2026 (BSS) - Three people were killed and 10 others 
injured in a road accident on the Hatikumrul-Dhaka highway in front of the Nalka Gas Office in Raiganj upazila of the district today. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jamuna Bridge West Police Station Md. Amirul Islam said the accident took place around 11am when a Mymensingh-bound passenger bus of 'Bushra Paribahan' from Rangpur crashed into a road divider and the base of an overpass in the Nalka area of the district.

Two people died on the spot while 11 injured were rescued and taken to 
Shaheed M. Mansur Ali Medical College Hospital, where another succumbed to injuries, he added.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
