RANGAMATI, Dec 14, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Army has distributed winter clothes and carpets to orphaned and underprivileged madrasa students in Rangamati district.

The assistance was provided to the North Forest Colony Tahfizul Quran Madrasa and Orphanage in the Banarupa area on Sunday morning under the initiative of the Army Rangamati Sadar Zone.

Lt. Col. Md. Ekramul Rahat, PSC, Zone Commander of Rangamati Sadar Zone, was present as the chief guest at the event. 

The programme was presided over by Madrasa Director Maulana Rahmat Ullah. Other notable attendees included Abu Huraira Noorani Madrasa Director Ramzan Uddin, Maulana Imam Uddin, Md. Ariful Islam, along with teachers, students, and local dignitaries.

The initiative aims to provide essential winter support to vulnerable students and promote community welfare through collaborative efforts between the Army and local educational institutions.
