KHULNA, Dec 9, 2025 (BSS) - Speakers at a workshop emphasized the need for cultivating shrimp with disease-free and pathogen-free post larvae.
The speakers also called for bio-secure ghers, virus-free post larvae, and enhanced safety measures across the shrimp sector.
The speakers made the remarks at a workshop titled "Challenges and Opportunities in Sustainable Bagda Shrimp Farming" held on Tuesday at Shrimp Tower in Khulna City.
They stressed ensuring the supply of high-quality post larvae from hatcheries as a priority.
