MAGURA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident in Bilsonai area under Sreepur upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Md Habibul Hasan, 18, son of Zakir Sheikh of Bilnathur village of the upazila. 

Family sources said that after receiving the news of his grandfather's death, Habibul went to Langalbandh area on a motorcycle with his friend. On his way back from there around 11 am, their motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup van in the area. Habibul died on the spot. 

Sub Inspector Kamruzzaman of Sreepur Police Station confirmed the matter.
