RAJSHAHI, Nov 27, 2025 (BSS) – An eight-party alliance led by Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a divisional rally in Rajshahi on Sunday to press home its five-point demands.

The rally is scheduled to take place at the historic Madrasha playground from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Party leaders disclosed the information at a press conference held at a city restaurant this noon.

Imaj Uddin Mondal, secretary of the Rajshahi city unit of Jamaat-e-Islami, addressed the press conference as the focal person, saying that around 2.5 lakh leaders and activists from all eight districts of the Rajshahi division are expected to join the rally.

He further said the participating parties are: Jamaat-e-Islami, Islami Andolon, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, Khelafat Andolon, Nizami Islam Party, Bangladesh Development Party, and Jatiya Ganatantrik Party.
