NARSINGDI, Aug 31, 2026 (BSS) - The law and order situation and issues related to public life in Narsingdi was discussed at a meeting held at the circuit house today.

The discussion, presided over by State Minister for Textiles and Jute Md Shariful Alam, MP, stressed maintaining peace and security in the district.

To maintain law and order, Shariful Alam said all concerned must discharge their responsibilities in a coordinated manner.

Narsingdi district BNP President and lawmaker from Narsingdi Sadar constituency Khairul Kabir Khokon, lawmaker from Narsingdi-5 (Raipura) constituency Engineer Ashraf Uddin Bakul, Deputy Commissioner Israt Jahan Keya, Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Faruk, district BNP General Secretary Manzur Elahi, among other senior officials of the administration and different government departments, attended the meeting.
