Ziaur Rahman Foundation announces annual science fair to find future scientists

DHAKA, Aug 30, 2026 (BSS) - The Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) is going to organise the annual science fair titled 'In Search of Future Scientists-2026 (Bhavishyot Biggyanir Khojey)' for the third time to showcase the innovative potential of Bangladesh's youth at the national and international levels.

The information was disclosed in a press release issued today.

It said students, innovators, researchers, engineers and technology-loving young men and women aged 18 or above from any public or private university, medical college or technology institution in the country can participate in the fair.

Interested teachers and students have been invited to register by September 30.

According to the release, participants can submit any original innovative project, including projects on artificial intelligence, robotics, agricultural technology, health technology, renewable energy and smart solutions. 

However, previously presented projects will not be accepted, and participants must present their own models in person.

At the event, selected innovators will have the opportunity to present their respective projects before ZRF President and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Vice-Chairperson Dr Zubaida Rahman.

The top five young winners of the competition will receive special financial assistance to create startups with the aim of developing them into new entrepreneurs. 

Besides, the winners will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
