CHATTOGRAM,  Aug 29, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for the Ministry of Land and Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has said the defeated and fugitive forces are active to destabilize the nation by creating artificial crises through various means.
 
He said any conspiracy aimed at undermining the country's stability, democratic framework will be resisted politically.

The state minister sais this in a meeting today held for taking preparation to observe the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on September 1 at party Nasiman Bhaban office.

He noted that the BNP has assumed the responsibility of the country shouldering a debt burden of Taka 30 lakh crore. 

As the process of rebuilding the nation from its ruins has been commenced, it requires time and collective support of all to restore the economy and fulfill people's expectations.
 
City BNP Convener Ershad Ullah MP presided over the meeting while member secretary Nazimur Rahman was the moderator.
 
Ershad Ullah MP announced that a rally will be brought out in the city at 3 pm on September 1 from Old Railway Station premises on the occasion.
He asked the leaders, workers and supporters from every ward to join the rally with banners and festoons to make the rally a grand success.
