CHATTOGRAM, Aug 29, 2026 (BSS)- State Minister for Religious Affairs, Shamim Kaiser, MP, held a meeting with the Ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh, Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri.

The meeting took place on Saturday afternoon, August 29, at Al Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagri Madrasa at Nazirhat Municipality, under Fatikchhari upazila of the district today.
 
During his visit, the State Minister engaged in conversation with the Ameer at the guesthouse of the Madrasa and exchanged pleasantries. Subsequently, he informed reporters, "Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagri is extending comprehensive support and cooperation to the government of Bangladesh in its governance. Since my appointment as State Minister, I have been keen to meet the Ameer of Hefazat and visit this place.

Today, I have come to Fatikchhari to seek the blessings of Huzoor." He further stated, "Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has already gained the trust of the people by adhering to the principles of justice and the teachings of the great Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) and by promoting his ideals."

Hefazat leaders, officials from the administration, responsible personnel from Al Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagar Madrasa, and various scholars were present on the occassion.
