RAJSHAHI, Aug 28, 2026 (BSS) - Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, and Director General (DG) of the Department of Livestock Services (DLS) Shahjaman Khan visited the scenic Middle Char of the Padma River in Rajshahi, known as 'Mini Switzerland'.

During the visit today, they toured the scenic natural beauty of the Padma, the riverbank environment, and the potential of the char area.

During the inspection, they spoke with the residents of the char and inquired about their overall well-being.

At that time, they discussed the possibility of developing the Middle Char of the Padma into a more attractive and eye-catching tourist center by utilizing the tourism potential of Rajshahi.
