DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS) - The government has renamed Shaheed M. Mansur Ali Medical College in Sirajganj. The institution's new name is Sirajganj Medical College.

A gazette notification, signed by Md. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Secretary of the Health Education and Family Welfare Division, came up with the development today.

The change will take effect immediately, said the notification.

It mentioned that the concerned authorities have been instructed to make necessary adjustments in administrative and academic activities following the name change.
