Education Fair held at RU under Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor Program

RAJSHAHI, May 14, 2026 (BSS) - An education fair was held today at the University of Rajshahi (RU) under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor Program.
 The inaugural ceremony of the fair took place in the Engineering Faculty Gallery of Dr. Jamal Nazrul Islam Academic Building.

The chief guest was RU Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Mohammad Main Uddin.

 Distinguished guests included Jehanjeb Khan, Director of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission; Ayesha Ikram, Director General of the Scholarships and International Relations Division; Deputy High Commissioner Mohammad Wasif; and North Bengal International University Vice-Chancellor Professor M. Sayedur Rahman.
 
Others present at the event included Professor Muhammad Sazzadur Rahim, Director of the Office of International Affairs, and Professor Md. Nurul Momen, Director of the Career Counseling and Development Center, along with other officials.
 
Twenty top universities from Pakistan participated in the fair. Students were informed about 500 fully-funded scholarships offered by the Government of Pakistan for Bangladesh.
 
The fair at RU was organized with support from the Office of International Affairs and the Career Counseling and Development Center.
