DHAKA, Jan 11, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has revoked the
expulsion and relief orders of eight leaders from different districts and
metropolis in accordance with the party's decision.
A press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir
Rizvi said here today.
The expulsion orders of the following individuals who were previously
expelled on charges of breaching party's discipline and engaging in
activities contrary to the party's policies and principles have been revoked
and their primary membership reinstated, the release added.
Seven leaders who were expelled in the past got back their positions. They
are former President of Bishwambhapur Upazila BNP of Sunamganj district
Mohammad Harunur Rashid, former General Secretary (GS) of Ward No. 25 (South
Surma Thana) of Sylhet Mohanagar BNP Md. Suleman Hossain Sumon, former Senior
Vice-President of Jokiganj Upazila BNP of Sylhet district Tofael Ahmed
Chowdhury, former member of Mymensingh North District BNP AKM Azharul Haque
Ripon, former GS of Fulpur Municipal BNP Emran Hasan Pollob, former Senior
Vice-President of Fulpur Municipal BNP Mukhlesur Rahman Bulu, and former
Organizing Secretary of Fulpur Municipal BNP Nur Alam Siddiqui.
In addition, the relieving order of Rina Talukdar, former Joint General
Secretary of Sunamganj District Mohila Dal, has also been withdrawn.
