DHAKA, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS)- BNP has launched a call center to facilitate and conduct party's election campaign more effectively during the upcoming National Parliamentary Election.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir inaugurated the call center at the party's Election Steering Office at Ghulsan in the city today.
BNP Standing Committee member Selima Rahman, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, and other central leaders were present.
After the inauguration, Rizvi said, the call center has been set up to establish quick communication with grassroots to deal with any election related issues, complaints and respond quickly to their needs.
Initially, six agents will provide this service from 10 AM to 10 PM. Later, this service will be made operational 24 hours a day, he said.
Rizvi also informed that anyone can call 16543 to receive election assistance. Operators will record the issues and send those immediately to the relevant committee for prompt action.
Efforts are being made to further streamline election activities through the use of technology, he said hoping that the center would help monitor the election management process more effectively.
Rizvi also praised the relentless efforts of the party's Media Cell and technical experts to establish the call centre saying the initiative will take BNP's election preparation one step forward.
