DHAKA, Dec 20, 2025 (BSS) - The police have arrested 11 individuals in a day-long special operation carried out in different areas under the Uttara West Police Station in the capital on Friday.

According to a police press release, the arrestees include regular case accused, warrant fugitives, and suspects involved in drug-related offenses.

They are  Md. Islam Mia (27), Naurin Akhter alias Brishti, Md. Mizan (38), Md. Raihan (23), Md. Robin (23), Md. Omar Faruk (34), Md. Mobarak Hossain (28), Md. Arif (35), Rakibul Hasan (19), Md. Sohag (22), and Md. Saddam (28).

During the operation, the police also recovered five grams of marijuana from the possession of the accused.
 Following the arrest, all 11 individuals were produced before a Dhaka court.

Uttara West Police officials stated that such special operations will continue in the future to maintain law and order and ensure public safety in the area.
