DHAKA, Dec 29, 2025 (BSS) - Gulshan Police have arrested two persons with a 
foreign-made pistol, a magazine and four rounds of bullet from the capital.

The arrested are Md Russell Sikder alias Killer Russell, 25, and Md 
Mohiuddin, 22, a DMP's Media and Public Relations division press release said 
here today.

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur 
Rahman issued the release saying that police also seized a motorcycle and two 
mobile phones from their possession.

Russell and Mohiuddin were arrested by Gulshan team police at a check post in 
front of Gulshan Ideal School on Sunday (December 28) around 5:30 pm, the DMP 
release said.

A regular case was filed against the arrested persons under the Arms Act with 
Gulshan Police Station, Talebur Rahman said, adding, "They have been produced 
before court."

Gulshan Police Station has been continuing an intensive investigation into 
the case to find out the source of these weapons.
