DHAKA, March 18, 2022 (BSS) - Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of heroic freedom fighter, industrialist and former Member of Parliament from Sylhet-6 constituency (Beanibazar-Golapganj) Dr Syed Makbul Hossain.

In a condolence message, the minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Makbul Hossain was elected MP as an independent candidate for two times from Sylhet-6 (Beanibazar-Golapganj) constituency in 1986 and 2001.

He also established several educational institutions.
