DHAKA, Dec 12, 2022 (BSS) - Seven local youths have won the "50 years of Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Quiz Competition" among more than seven thousand participants.
 
Japan embassy in Dhaka and Youth Opportunities today jointly organized the prize-giving ceremony for the winners in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh.
The week-long online quiz competition, held between November 27 and December 3, aimed at building better awareness among the Bangladeshi youths regarding the beneficial friendship between the two friendly nations with a fun learning activity.
 
Japan Ambassador to Bangladesh ITO Naoki and other guests handed prizes to the winners at the Japan embassy.
Japanese envoy emphasized the significance of this initiative by reiterating the strong multifaceted bilateral ties between Japan and Bangladesh.
 
Co-founder of Youth Opportunities Osama Bin Noor mentioned that this competition has engaged thousands of Bangladeshi youths and enhanced their knowledge of Japan-Bangladesh relations.
 
In the future, he hoped that the youths of Bangladesh and Japan will work together to take the friendship between the two countries to a different height.
