DINAJPUR, Dec 8, 2022 (BSS) - Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Iqbalur Rahim today called upon Awami League leaders and workers to be careful about BNP-Jamaat conspiracy and disorder.

"BNP-Jamaat has turned the country into a bottomless basket when BNP-Jamaat was in power" he said this at a discussion meeting with Dinajpur Municipal Awami League and affiliated leaders and activists at Dinajpur Municipal and Sadar Upazila Awami League office today as the chief guest.
 
"The development of Bangabandhu's daughter, Sheikh Hasina, is the reason for the headache of BNP-Jamaat," the whip added.

BNP does not want the development of the country, they want their own development and BNP-Jamaat wants to make the country Pakistan again by creating chaos in the country, he said.

BNP-Jamaat is harming the people of the country in the name of unnecessary agitation. But the people rejected their movement. Rahim called upon all the leaders and workers of the party to stop all such conspiracies along with people from all walks of life.

Referring to the various rallies held by BNP in recent times, he said that BNP is creating anarchy in the country by blocking roads and setting fires in the name of mass gatherings.

All Awami League workers under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must stop this mischief of BNP, he added.

Earlier in the morning, the whip inaugurated Madhavpur village road in Sheikhpura Union of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila.

Dinajpur Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Imdad Sarkar, LGED Executive Engineer FM Khairul Islam, Vice-Chairman Rabiul Islam Sohag, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Ramiz Alam, Sadar Upazila Engineer Zakyul Alam and Sadar Upazila Awami League General Secretary Md Mominul Islam, among others, were present.
