DHAKA, Nov 19, 2022, (BSS) - Three people were killed as a speeding truck hit
their motorcycle from behind on the city's Khilgaon flyover early Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 36, Mehedi Hasan, 28, and Joj Mia,
36. They all were from the city's Mugda area, police sources said.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon Thana Md Faruk ul-Alam told BSS that the
accident occurred when a speeding truck hit their bike around 3 am in the
area, leaving them injured critically.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty
doctors declared them dead.

The bodies were kept at the DMCH morgue for autopsy. Police are looking for
the truck and its driver, the DMP official added.
