KHULNA, Nov 16, 2022 (BSS) - Dr Abul Kashem Chowdhury, Professor of Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding of Patuakhali Science and Technology University, has been appointed as the vice-chancellor (VC) of Khulna Agriculture University (KAU).
 
President M Abdul Hamid, as the chancellor of the university, appointed him to the post for the next four-year term, a press release signed by registrar of the university Dr Khondokar Mazharul Anwar, said today.
 
In 1989, Dr Kashem joined Patuakhali Science and Technology University as a lecturer and later upgraded as Professor.
 
Over 53 research articles of Dr Kashem have been published in different journals of home and abroad, said the press release.
