DHAKA, Oct 16, 2022 (BSS) - The government has sent Information and 
Broadcasting Secretary Md Makbul Hossain on retirement.
 
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification today stating that 
he was sent on retirement 'in the public interest as per section 45 of the 
Public Servants Act, 2018.

Mokbul joined as secretary of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry on 
May 31, 2021, and he took over the charges on June 3 of the same year.
 
Makbul, a member of the 10th BCS Administration Cadre, joined the civil 
service in 1991.
