DHAKA, Oct 15, 2022 (BSS) - Md Shamsul Huq, father-in-law of Awami League's deputy-office secretary Sayem Khan, passed away today at the age of 65.

Shamsul Huq breathed his last this noon while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city, said a press release.
 
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives, well-wishers and admirers to mourn his death.
 
Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Shamsul Huq.

In a message of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
