RAJSHAHI, Oct 7, 2022 (BSS)- Rajshahi University (RU) has taken the initiative of launching new masters programmes in four subjects aimed at boosting technological competency among the students in the era of fourth industrial revolution.

With this end, the students will be transformed into human resources through enhancing their technological skills.

Registrar Professor Abdus Salam said formal activities of the masters programmes will be introduced as soon as possible under the supervision of the RU Engineering Faculty. The programmes are: Cyber Security, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Internet of Things and Data Science Programme.

Vice-chancellor Professor  Golam Sabbir Sattar said the main task of any of the universities is to generate competent human resources in accordance with the demand of the present era.

To attain the cherished goal, the four new masters' programmes are going to be launched in RU. Thereby, the students can avail the scopes of building themselves as skilled technologically and the country and the nation as well will get competent human resources.
