DHAKA, October 1, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock at the death of Toab Khan, renowned journalist and former press secretary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
 
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Toab Khan and conveyed sympathy to bereaved members of his family. 
     
Toab Khan, former Principal Information Officer and former Director General of Press Institute of Bangladesh, breathed his last at 12:30pm while undergoing treatment at United Hospital here.

Earlier, Toab Khan was admitted to the hospital due to old age complications.
Born on April 24, 1934 in Satkhira, the eminent journalist started his journalism career in 1955.
