DHAKA, Sept 29, 2022 (BCC) - Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today 
distributed 76 bicycles among the financially challenged of different 
universities and colleges marking 76th birthday of Prime Minister also Awami 
League president Sheikh Hasina.

Bicycles were distributed today at Dhaka University's Teacher-Student Center 
among 76 female students of Dhaka University, Eden Mohila College, Begum 
Badrunnessa Government Girls' College and Government College of Applied Human 
Science.   

BCL President Al Nahian Khan Joy presided over the program while Awami League 
(AL) Industries and Commerce Secretary Md Siddiqur Rahman, AL Relief and 
Social Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi addressed as special guests on the 
occasion, conducted by BCL General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya.

76 students were selected from Dhaka University and three other colleges 
through proper scrutinizing, said chief coordinator of the program and BCL 
Relief and Disaster management affairs secretary Emran Jamadder. 

Martyred intellectual family member also professor of Bangabandhu Sheikh 
Mujib Medical University Dr Nuzhat Chowdhury and DU BCL General Secretary 
Saddam Hussein, BCL Deputy Relief and Disaster Management affairs Secretary 
Farooq Ahmed and Anwar Hossain were present among others.  

Earlier, the gusts unveiled a magazine published by BCL titled "Durjoye 
Durbipake: Sankoate Sansaye Bangladesh Chhatra League'.
