DHAKA, Sept 25, 2022 (BSS) - Dhaka University pharmacy faculty and pharmacy department jointly celebrated the World Pharmacist Day 2022 in a befitting manner with much enthusiasm and festivity.

To mark the day, a discussion and colourful rally organised with the theme "Pharmacy united in action for a healthier world" on the faculty premises, said a press release.

DU Vice Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzam addressed the discussion as the chief guest while pharmacy faculty dean Dr Sitesh Chandra Bachar and Professor and chairman of Pharmaceutical Chemistry department Dr. Md. Shah Amran addressed as special guest.

Chairman of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology department Dr Mohammad Asaduzzaman presented the keynote speech in the discussion, with Pharmacy department Professor Dr Firoj Ahmed in the chair.

Earlier, students, teachers and officials of the faculty, led by DU VC Dr Akhtaruzzamn, brought out a colourful rally which parallel different key points of the faculty.
