DHAKA, Sept 21, 2022 (BSS) - The government has reappointed Professor Dr Mesbahuddin Ahmed as the chairman of Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) for the next four years.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification to this end today, said a press release.

Dr Mesbahuddin joined his office for the second consecutive term in the afternoon. 

Later, he paid rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the city's Dhanmondi-32 no road.

The BAC chairman observed one minute silence after placing the wreaths. 

BAC officers and stuff were present on the occasion.
