KHULNA, Sept 1, 2022(BSS) - Professor Dr Mihir Ranjan Halder, Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), was appointed as its new Vice Chancellor (VC) today.

President and Chancellor of the university Abdul Hamid appointed Prof Mihir Ranjan for the next four years under KUET Act, Assistant Director of Public Relation and Information Section of KUET Monoj Kumar Majumder said.

In 1986, Dr Mihir joined as a lecturer of the then Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT) in Khulna and later upgrading as Professor of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of KUET in 2004.
