DHAKA, Aug 29, 2022 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today said BNP and Jamaat believe in the Pakistani ideology and there is no difference between the two parties.

"BNP and Jamaat are complementary to each other," he said while speaking at a programme organized by Jubo Mohila League marking National Mourning Day in AL`s Bangabandhu Avenue Central Office here.

Hanif said BNP-Jamaat was established by Pakistani Detective Agency ISI. Their activities are directed by ISI.

He said, "Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Shafiqur Rahman said the activities of 20-Party Alliance are now ineffective. They are not with BNP and it is their political strategy."

AL leader Hanif said "BNP`s senior leader Tarique Rahman, speaking at a discussion, said that Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir and Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Chatra Dal are siblings. BNP and Jamaat are two sons of a single mother."

He said BNP-Jamaat is hatching conspiracy in the country. "We will remain cautious about their all kind of plots." Bangladesh will move forward led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Jubo Mohila League`s President Nazma Akhtar presided over the discussion while AL Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Abdus Subhan Golap, Mohila Affairs Secretary Maher Afroz Chumki and Jubo Mohila League General Secretary Opu Ukil, among others, spoke in the meeting.
