DHAKA, Aug 27, 2022 (BSS) - State Minster for Cultural Affairs K M Khalid participated in the inaugural plenary session of the three-day sixth Edinburgh International Culture Summit-2022 titled "Culture and a Sustainable Future" began on August 26 in Edinburg, Capital of Scotland Yesterday.

High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the UK, Saida Muna Tasneem was present in the opening session along with the state minister.

The state minister also participated in bilateral informal talks with Scottish Parliament Speaker Alison Johnstone, Cabinet Secretary of Scotland Constitutions, External Affairs and Culture Angus Robertson, Chief of Ireland Cultural delights and Bangladeshi origin Scottish Parliament Member Faisal Chowdhory.

The 6th Edinburgh International Cultural Summit-2022 is being held in Edinburgh of Scotland from August 26 to 28, an official release said today.
