DHAKA, Aug 13, 2022 (BSS) - Main opposition party in parliament Jatiya Party (JaPa) has taken programmes to observe the martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day on Monday in a befitting manner.

Marking the day, the party will organize a milad and doa mahfil at 5pm on the day at the JaPa's central office in the city's Kakrail area, said a press release here today.

JaPa chairman and deputy leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader will chair the programme.

JaPa secretary general valiant freedom fighter Mujibul Haque Chunnu, in a statement, today urged leaders and workers at all levels to attend the milad and doa mahfil.
